1 to 1 Flooring are an independent family run business that have been in the Berkhamsted area for just over 2 years. Showcasing ALL our wonderful products in our latest display format, our eye-catching and easy to use Play Studio. Bring along your paint charts and fabric samples and choose at your leisure.

Elliott, 1 to 1 Floorings friendly showroom manager, will go the extra mile to welcome you and help you with your beautiful new flooring design. While John, the store estimator, will visit your home to measure up and offer advice on installation. Both Elliott and John have vast experience having worked in the flooring industry for multiple decades.

We had a quick Q&A with the team at 1 to 1 Flooring to find out a little bit more about them...

We think you're great, but why should local people visit your store?

“Because we offer a friendly and personal service with vast experience in the local area with awareness of local issues. We are also part of the local community. Due to this we believe we can provide an excellent experience for all that come into our showroom.”

What do you love about your local area? Any Quirky Facts?

"Just the history of the town and the vibrant high street, with many cafes, restaurants, and family run businesses. Our historic town also contains Berkhamsted Castle which was a favored residence of all royalty from 1066 to 1495 including the William the conquer.”

What's the best thing about Alternative Flooring? What's your favourite Alternative product?

“There are always two products that stand out for us. First is the Rock ‘n’ Roll striped wool carpet, not only is it incredibly vibrant and full of great colour palettes, but the names are also brilliant.

The second must be the Anywhere carpets, they are unique from all other flatweave carpets in that they are polypropylene, so not only hard wearing but also easy to clean.”

“Our only other mention must be for the team at Alternative Flooring who are always available to help & just a good people to have around.”
