Floor De Lee are an independently run business who have been in the Pontyclun area since 2005 and have had a showroom in Crickhowell since 2014. Showcasing ALL our wonderful products in our latest display format, our eye-catching and easy to use Play Studio. Bring along your paint charts and fabric samples and choose at your leisure.

Customers can be assured of a warm welcome from owner Lee, along with his front of house team, Rebecca, Julia, Nicola and Julian, who will expertly guide and advise you with your new flooring design. Along with their experienced team of employed fitters, Leighton, Luke, Anthony and Gavin, they will ensure you are supported throughout your carpet buying journey.

We had a quick Q&A with the team at Floor De Lee to find out a little bit more about them...

We think you're great, but why should local people visit your store?

“For 19 years Floor De Lee has been supplying and fitting quality flooring to homes and businesses in South Wales. We have expertly trained staff that are exclusive to us. We specialise in fitting different types of flooring like Carpet, Luxury Vinyl and Laminates. We strive to not only provide beautiful flooring but ensure that it will always look good and last for our customers. We are meticulous about our preparation and fit, so you simply won't get a better result.”

What do you love about your local area? Any Quirky Facts?

“We love working with the local area, we are finding more customers wanting to support local and smaller businesses and appreciate the customer service side; which is very hard to come by these days. We really do appreciate every customer’s time when visiting our store.

Pontyclun translates from the Welsh language as 'bridge [over] the River Clun', the Clun being a tributary of the River Ely that runs through Pontyclun. A bridge crosses the Afon Clun just above its confluence with the Ely.

The village falls under the remit of Pontyclun Community Council, which represents the communities of Brynsadler, Castell y Mwnws, Groes-faen, Miskin, Mwyndy, Pontyclun, Talygarn, and Ynysddu.”

What's the best thing about Alternative Flooring? What's your favourite Alternative product?

“We really love the Play Studio, it’s easy to guide customer though the different options from Naturals, Faux, Wool and Patterns. Our customers love that they can take sample books away with them to see in their natural light before committing with any purchases. We particularly love the Anywhere range as it has been very popular with our customer, having a product that looks great but also lasts and the benefit being it can go indoors and outdoors.”

Anything else you would like to tell us?

“When you Invest in a beautiful new floor it is essential that you get it professionally fitted. We offer a complete service from start to finish ensuring that your flooring is the right one for you and that it will last for years to come.

We have 2 stores, 1 in Pontyclun and the other in Crickhowell Town; we employ all our fitters and do not use subcontractors.”
