Mister Smith Interiors are an independent family run business who have been in the Brighton area for over 20 years. Showcasing ALL our wonderful products in our latest display format, our eye-catching and easy to use Play Studio. Bring along your paint charts and fabric samples and choose at your leisure.

Customers can be assured of a warm welcome from owner Ben and his team, Helen and Katie, who will expertly guide and advise you with your new flooring design. Along with their experienced team of fitters, they will ensure you are supported throughout your carpet buying journey.

We had a quick Q&A with the team at Mister Smith Interiors to find out a little bit more about them...

We think you're great, but why should local people visit your store?

“Helen and myself have over 30 years of experience in the business; my grandfather actually started the original business in Tunbridge Wells over 60 years ago. We love finding out about people’s houses and what they like and using our experience to find products that compliment that. We also provide interior design and project management for all our customers, whatever the size of the job.”

What do you love about your local area? Any Quirky Facts?

“We are based in the centre of Brighton with the Pavillion over the road and Beach close by. We have traditional tailors and DIY shops round the corner and plenty of good coffee shops. There is also a NCP just up the road from us which is very handy!”

What's the best thing about Alternative Flooring? What's your favourite Alternative product?

“Alternative Floorings brand sits well with ours as we enjoy using colour & pattern. We also look to sell good quality, reasonably priced carpets. We have the Wool Skein carpet fitted in our showroom, which we love.”

Anything else you would like to tell us!

“We don’t just sell carpets but also fabrics & wallpapers. We survey, make up and install everything we supply. We have an expert installation team which have worked for us for over 20 years.”
